YAY! Very comfortable and will be buying another pair to have as back-up when these wear out (or become my outside shoes). We don’t wear shoes in the house, which is fine as long as your feet don’t get tired (or cold) walking barefoot or only in socks. The older I get, the more I appreciate having comfortable support (plus my office is in my house so I can go all day and never step foot out of the house sometimes!) So, I always want a good pair of tennis shoes to wear in the house, never outside to get dirty. These are my new ones and they’re great. Immediately comfortable and supportive.
P.S. I see one review that says these aren’t leather. The ones I received are leather, so that’s a little confusing. They look and feel like leather and it says leather on the label, too.

Walked all over Scotland.
I love this shoe it is really light and yet durable and has great support. I took a trip to Scotland and we had rain, snow, hills and cobble stone streets. This shoe did great in all the above enviroment and my feet did not hurt or get tired. For the price this is a great shoe.

The best shoe by far for anyone experiencing or living with plantar fasciitis. I’m an RN and have found no other shoe I can wear but this shoe and style. It is comfortable and gives me the heel support I need. Along with custom made orthodics this shoe is a dream.

A good walking shoe –
I have walked many years in these Easy Spirit Romy shoes. Two miles 5 days a week and have found them to be the most comfortable walking shoe that I have tried.

GREAT Walking Shoes!
These shoes are SUPER SOFT!!!! No breaking-in or “added” padding inside the shoes were needed. I work at a grocery store on weekends and I stand/walk on cement plus the paved parking lot anywhere from 4 – 9 hours at a stretch. Not once have these shoes given me any grief. I found these shoes are cushioned enough that the bottoms of my feet do not feel “tired” or “sore” from walking/standing all day.

These are very comfortable shoes. They have a very roomy toe box and nice cushioning. Not for heavy duty walking or athletic pursuits, but comfy for light duty.

The shoes fit well and I was able to take out the insole so I could put in my arch supports. I have a very narrow foot and these fit nicely except they slip in the heel, but I have yet to find shoes that don’t slip in the heel.

These are great shoes. I wear a wide and often have a hard time finding my perfect size. But these are a perfect fit and are they are the most comfortable shoes that I own. I would highly recommend them. I just placed an order for several more in different colors.

Easy Spirit has recently changed their sizing. I was always able to wear a 10M in this shoe until now. I found that the sizing had changed so I ordered an 11N. It fits perfectly.

These are the best shoes that I have ever worn. I broke my ankle and was off work for an extended period of time. I recently returned with these new shoes. I think these are the get up and go style and they really do put a spring in your step. I will order these again, and always from Zappos. They provided a great delivery.

I love Zappos! When I first ordered my replacement shoes, I had ordered the wrong width. Immediately the customer service team canceled my order and found the right shoes for me. Much to my chagrin, these are the exact same shoes as my mom has! They are so comfortable that I swallowed my pride and and chose to keep them. I’ve never regretted my decision. I especially appreciate that these shoes do not rub my ankle bone as other, more expensive athletic shoes have done. Once again, my mother knew best!

These have always caught my eye as an attractive simple design shoe, I finally ordered them, They are still attractive, BUT they are vinyl and not leather. I have to return them. I want leather!

I was ready to buy more of these shoes in other colors but – then I started wearing them.
I gave this one star because in spite of their attractive appearance and comfortable fit, they do not last at all. I use these just for house shoes, not even for walking or any sports, just around the house. And in five months the “leather” has started splitting at the toes and front of the shoes. There is almost no wear on the soles, yet they are splitting! I have walking shoes from other brands that did not look this bad in three years.

I love this sneaker and have worn it for years, I took a break from it a few years back, and I got completely derailed with another very walking pricey sneaker. I just kept trying to see if I could improve on the Romy. No, I cannot. I have extremely sensitive feet, hate any scratchy lining or nylon stitching, and these are like clouds on my feet. Great padding for ball of feet too, very smooth, soft lining in the entire interior. Good arch support. I have just about every possible bad foot condition, hammertoes, bunions, flat feet. So I’m not easy to fit or satisfy in the comfort department.I’m happy and glad to come back to the brand.

I’ve had a devil of a time finding comfortable, supportive walking shoes recently. Lots of orders and returns and was about ready to give up when these arrived. OMG, they are perfect for me, from the moment I tried them on. Lightweight yet sturdy, beautifully cushioned and so reasonably priced – nothing else had even come close. I immediately ordered a second pair. I’m a 73-year-old with high arches who needs a wide toe box, size 9 – 9.5 medium. The 9.5 is perfect. I also love the color – called “green” but really a lovely pale sage. These will be great for everyday – I am an artist and on my feet most of the day – as well as for overseas travel with lots of walking on uneven surfaces.

Giving this sneaker 4 stars for being comfortable and roomy enough for my wide toes, with a nice secure lace that is not ridiculously long. The thing that keeps this sneaker from being 5 stars is the same thing that keeps every other wide sneaker (or shoe) from being 5 stars: it is wide all the way around, including the ankles and heels where I don’t need it to be wide. Manufacturers need to come up with a separate rating for “wide in the toes but not in the heel”, as this is a very common complaint among those of us with wide “feet” which really means wide “toes”.

I received these in record time (as usual) and I loved them on sight. I love silver or gold shoes because they are almost impossible to find when you have a wide foot. These are a nice silver and they look silver and not gray. The little stripe across the sides was a surprise because it is very sparkly but not over kill. I purchased the xxw because I am wider across the toes when they spread as I walk and a lace up allows me to fit my smaller foot while giving me room on the wider foot. I remove the insole and replace it with my own orthotic and there is plenty of room for that too.
If you have wide feet or need lot of room in your sneakers and don’t want to spend $150.00, these may work for you.

Please never stop making these shoes. I have multiple pairs over many years. The treads are exceptionally well wearing and the heel fit is perfect As with all my sneakers I reinforce the inside toes with a piece of sticky Velcro loop to keep my big toe from popping thru.

I have purchased these Romy sneakers in white before. Decided to try the light grey, which happens to be more of a light taupe, which I love. The picture on the website looks like a blush color, but it is more taupe/grey. I wear with my orthotics and they are super comfortable.
