I have been wearing the Motions for about 6 years after having been told to wear comfortable shoes (due to a heel spur). The motions are “sneaker-like” and yet have a dressy appearance.

I worked as a staff nurse (meaning on my feet for 12 hours a day) for 20 years. I found work in a law office, but I noticed over time that my feet were hurting, which was strange because I was on them much less. The problem was that the office shoes I was wearing were much less supportive than the Easy Spirit running shoes I typically wore as a staff nurse. While I can’t go back to my running shoes at the moment, I find that these are a reasonable alternative. I did find that I needed to go about a half size up, and they could be a little more supportive in the arch. But overall they are a much better option than my slip on casuals. Easy Spirit to the rescue again!!

I often buy oxford type shoes because I have a wide foot. However, even with the laces fully loosened, I couldn’t get my foot into this shoe. It’s a well made shoe but not for you if you have wide feet.

Spent a lot of time trying to find this shoe in our local stores with no success. E-mailed Zappos and had the shoes in three days. Wanted another pair in a different color which was out of stock. Zappos e-mailed me when they came in so now I have a pair in colors wheat and white. I have a foot problem and these are my dress shoes. I also take the insoles out of the shoes and insert my special made ones. I previously bought these shoes in blue.

Every part of the order process worked great! I don’t think I will ever order from another site for shoes again. Zappos was out of a particular shoe and I ordered from another site and the size was wrong. I had to pay shipping to exchange them. Plus the package was plastic and hard to open neatly.

ES Motion has been my shoe of choice for many years. It seems they may have changed their sizing in that a medium is much slimmer than before. Not to worry, Zappos will make it right! Might want to order a wider width than normal.

I bought these in black. I got the shoes for my mother, she has had “feet issues” for a while now the latest being a protruding Bunion on her left foot. She loves the style and the comfort of the shoe. I am happy to say, she wears them all the time without any problems. I will be buying these in other colors until she has the surgery. Whenever that is, she is too “busy and active” for the surgery at this time…knowing my mother I think I should get the other colors as well. We give this shoe a 5 star because over the years she has tried many, many other shoes without success. Finally the search is over.

This is the second pair of this shoe that I have ordered and I have just ordered another pair in black. They are the most comfortable, true to size shoe that I have found for everyday wear. I have a pair of white ones I wear in the summer. Hence, they are not hot on the feet. I hope this style never goes away for I plan to replace them as they wear.

The 8Ms were too wide at the heel. The 8Ns were way to narrow at the front. I’m surprised that neither size fit me. Had trouble getting a return label to return the second pair. I called to ask about returning the first pair and received a label by email.
