I was so excited when I pulled this shoe out of the box–it’s beautiful. Well constructed, the leather looks substantial and the medium brown is a gorgeous color with subtle shading. Felt like I was back in the 70s, getting my favorite loafers to start the school year. Unfortunately, like all loafers it seems, there’s stitching inside the upper where the vamp attaches to the shoe, and it really irritates my bunions. I’ve tried various solutions over the years, including sanding the stitching, adding moleskin, trying to stretch the shoes–all to no avail. So I am very, very reluctantly sending this back. There’s probably no fix for it and I should give up trying to wear loafers. But if that’s not your issue, these will look absolutely fabulous with jeans, pants, even skirts, for fall.

I wear a 10N and these were a 10M so I thought I would add support to fit my foot. What I found was very odd. the shoe was too narrow just at the little toe area but huge in the heel. I’ve worn Easy Spirit many times before but find their quality just isn’t what it used to be. Back they go…

I was so disappointed when I received the second pair of loafers because in the delivery process my shoe order was exchanged for a unknown item
that had nothing to do with shoes. I still don’t know what it was. When I called Zappos they were excellent in their response in sending me a replacement. I do not feel that Zappos made the mistake I feel that it was in the delivery process. Thank you again Zappos, you have a customer for
life.

This was a cute pair of shoes but simply too narrow. The brown shade also was lighter in person. I like a true medium to dark brown, and these were a light brown almost like a camel color. I had to return.

Nice option for spring. I took them on a trip to DC, and walked 18,000+ steps on their first outing. I think they are a bit big, but not a complete half-size. Because I’m wearing them in situations (travel), where my feet will get tired and maybe a bit swollen due to an old injury, the extra space isn’t a concern for me. I wore a thin “footie” sock (Smartwool). Little bit of a side-to-side gap when walking, but not extreme. Perhaps consider ordering your normal size plus a half-size down to see what you like the best.

I love this shoe, however it is too large especially in the heel. I tried many things to make it fit but it just didn’t work. I am beginning to think that every company is making shoes just a little bit larger because I didn’t use to have so much trouble with fit. I wear size 5.

I wanted to love these loafers. I am a 6 1/2 in most brands and the fit is just ok. The heel slips while walking and is very sloppy.

Shoes were tight across top and also felt heavy. I have several pairs of Easy Spirit Shoes and have enjoyed them – however, this pair has a different fit. Sorry.

Ordered these in an 8.5W. The toe box is so narrow, I thought they sent me the wrong size. The only thing that was wide was at the heel. So disappointed because they are beautiful shoes and exactly what I had been searching for.

The 7 felt true to size, but was narrow. The arch support was very satisfactory. The leather seems “hard” and not pliable . Prefer a softer leather.
