Tom B –
I love these Dockers Vargas for several reasons. In addition to looking sharp, they fit well and they’re comfortable enough to wear without socks (the only way to go with this type of shoe, as far as I’m concerned!). You can tell they’re well-made, so they’re gonna last a while. Definitely a wise purchase, and one I’d recommend to others in a heartbeat. Happy camper here!

The Dockers Vargas is a pretty nice pair of shoes. The styling is very similar to a well known brand of boat shoes and at a very competitive price these shoes are an excellent buy. Would definitely buy again.

I typically have a 12 or a 12W foot depending on the company. I got the 12, and it fits well except that when I walk the sides near my ankle bend out. I imagine this is going to result in excelerated wear. The 11s would probably be too small though. The shoe looks good. The tan/blue one in the photo is exactly what it looks like: the blue is a little faded looking. Don’t open these expecting a vibrant blue. Nevertheless a great color.

Nice shoes at a competitive price! Zappos is the best place to buy shoes…if they don’t fit, their return policy is wonderful!

Good rubber sole for support; soft inside. Looks great. Runs true to size (both length and width).

Excellent looking shoe, casual, feels and fits great.

Great price, fit perfectly and looks good. Seems well made.

This is my 3rd pair of Dockers from Zappos so I really like this shoe. And Zappos is the only place to buy shoes! Ordered these on Sunday evening and they were delivered on Tuesday. Great product and great service.

Not as comfortable as I would have hoped and cut my ankles pretty good the first time I wore them, but overall a sold shoe, especially for the price. Comfortable enough to wear everyday and stylish enough to wear into the office. Fits great, can wear with or without socks if one is so inclined.

Bought these for my husband and he loves them!! True to size 11 and is wearing them every day now ????????

Nice boat shoe. If wearing it without socks, takes a few wears to break in.

These Dockers are made and well stitched. I’ve felt ge that Dockers, DON’T put enough padding support in the soles.
I wear a 12 m to w. These felt tight all the way around. If I were to order them again, I would get a 13. Good value for the money.

Nice shoe. I wear a size 9 M which is what I got. It feels tight and rubs my heel. I did not try to return it because the tags had been removed and I had worn it to see if it would stretch out some.

A good value boat shoe. Not much cushion or arch support, but well constructed.

Shoes fit well and show nice for the price. I have had good luck with Dockers in the past, but have never had a pair of their boat shoes. I normally wear Sperry, and I will say for the price these shoes appear to be a good bargain. I will most likely buy these again.

Great Boat shoe. Good price. Need to break them in just a little.

My father loves this shoe. It’s a classic that never goes out of style

Perfect fit and with a higher back leather piece means my heel doesn’t slip out as easily

Received in poor used condition. Disappointed they ever left the warehouse. Clearly worn and left insole was damaged.

Zappos recommended a 10.5 but ultimately needed a full size longer. I would have been willing to be spend twice as much for the Sperry Docksiders I really wanted but they are never in stock. These are functional but uppers just don’t compare. Arch support is better than expected, which was a nice surprise.

Fit my 12+ narrow without socks feet perfectly. Great casual knock around shoe. Not for long walks!

These shoes fit to size perfectly, I usually have a problem with the width but Not with these, I have been a Docker’s fan for a long time and I am never disappointed. The fit is snug and I feel confident that they will not slip off the heel. The Rust color is fabulous as well and look super good with Khaki Pants or Gray.

Stiff. Wide at heel. Attractive. Not best for my flat feet

Fit and size OK, but simply trying/wearing them briefly around the house, I felt uncomfortable rubbing along the outside of one ankle. Seems like this would cause an abrasion with all-day wear; didn’t seem like I could “mold” or wear in the hard edge. Bad location of that top edge, for me at least. ALSO — check the photo! — what’s with the inside soles that slipped out of both shoes as soon as I removed them? Seems cheesy — this is an actual part of the shoe. Will probably return to old reliable Sperry Topsiders.

Good shoe for the price. My son found the back (by the ankle) was hurting a bit on the first wearing. A minor adjustment/stretching by a shoemaker and they are good.
